Dans MoRT, Blut Aus Nord accomplit une transmutation du réel, une inversion de ce qui est logique. La voix de Vindsval quitte le monde du charnel, elle est bestiale et sacrée en même temps ; la guitare atteint des niveaux de dissonances tels qu'on l'entend gémir et pleurer ; la batterie est consistante dans son incondistance. Après la chute de Dieu, celle du Réel...

Quite possibly the most dissonant piece of music ever made? Feels like youre being slowly digested in the bowels of hell itself, and thats in the best way possible

Next to "The Work Which Transforms God" this is BANs strongest album. I have spent endless hours tracking the dissonant majesty of this record. Tried to piece it altogether but as a mass it changes form at every breath, twists it's own and your reality seemingly at will.

I've actually owned this on CD since it first came out in 2006 and we've been in a twisted relationship ever since. I listen to it; it messes with my head – twisting it hither and yon, but I keep going back…again and again. I think I may need some sort of psychological help, or at least more than I currently receive. It manages to be both soothing and disturbing at the same time, which is no mean feat. Incredibly atmospheric; impossibly dark and wonderfully moving.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....
